inkdick: april 22 2008 - bubbles of pity
The Accident: About two and a half months ago, I was riding my new bike back from Art History Since 1945 in the rain. I bought this bike at Target (my first mistake) two weeks before to this fateful ride. I drop from a curb no bigger than an inch at most. Apparently the quick-release feature on the front fire was not installed right and when I drop the curb, the front wheel popped out of it’s socket while I was going forward. So my bike stopped and I kept flying forward into the pavement. So I walk home dragging a broken bike and scrapes and bruises.
Besides the casualty of my bike, I also really hurt my right hand, my DRAWING hand, and almost failed Mini-Comics that quarter as a result.
I’m better (and poorer) now.

I used to get bubble tea at the metro all the time to make myself feel better after school-related things. … but they closed down the Metro last summer D: no more bubble-tea in Savannah
