and this is my journal comic.

I know journal comics have a mixed reaction in the comic world, some love them, some passionately hate them. I’m more on the love side myself. Anyways, I always wanted to do one, but would always fail after three days. Finally my Self-Publishing professor Sweetwater (yes, we call a professor Sweetwater) made my class do a daily one for a month straight. I dug it.

And now we are building websites for them. So welcome.

I want to get back into the grind of doing a journal comic everyday. I think I’ll start up again this week. Heck, at last weekend’s Editor’s Day Chris Staros (of Top Shelf Comix) looked at my mini-comics, looks through the inkdick number one and proclaimed, and I quote, “I want to see more dick!” So we’ll see…

Ok, this site is now live and open to the public. It still has some minor tweaks that need to be made, but it’s functional and that is what matters. So…welcome to inkdick, my journal comic. Inkdick is the first comic in a line of Ghost Car Press webcomics (more coming soon).

So I did these strips from March 24 to April 27. I still have a few more from that time to post up. But after that I gave up on these, but upon building this site I got the urge to get back to doing these daily. So I’m doing them again.

I will post the last remaining strips from the initial run up here in the next week and the new strips will follow soon after that.

Thank all yous guys for the positive feedback to inkdick so far! So I’m trying to keep up to date with these things. Ideally, I want to update with a new comic everyday, but I won’t be able to do that for at least a month, what with school finals this week, the fact I don’t know when/if I’ll have internet in my new place, and the fact I’ll be in Woodbridge, VA early June. But after that, I’ll try updating everyday. But until then, check back here every few days or so for updates.
