and this is my journal comic.
I know journal comics have a mixed reaction in the comic world, some love them, some passionately hate them. I’m more on the love side myself. Anyways, I always wanted to do one, but would always fail after three days. Finally my Self-Publishing professor Sweetwater (yes, we call a professor Sweetwater) made my class do a daily one for a month straight. I dug it.
And now we are building websites for them. So welcome.
I want to get back into the grind of doing a journal comic everyday. I think I’ll start up again this week. Heck, at last weekend’s Editor’s Day Chris Staros (of Top Shelf Comix) looked at my mini-comics, looks through the inkdick number one and proclaimed, and I quote, “I want to see more dick!” So we’ll see…

Wow man, I’m proud of you dude. You got it up and going, and you’re using the new Comic Press! Good job sir! I like your typographical choice and the coffee brown color. I’m gonna get a site set up for my journal comics too, and I enjoyed the assignments more than I thought I would as well. I think we’ve both been bitten by the journal comic love thang.
That’s awesome that Staros wanted to see more dick. . .

Woo, just read through them all and thought they were great! I especially like the house hunting ones though so far you’ve had no luck in finding the place of your dreams.
