My mom means well, she’s just very ignorant. It just really upsets me that she thinks I don’t know what I’m talking about and that the comics industry works just like any other industry, even though I only spent the last four years of my life studying comics and the comic industry on a college level.

yep. Our folks seems to be under the belief that if you go to college for 4 yrs…in comics…you’re going to be making $40,000 a yr right out of graduation….
