inkdick: august 06 2008 - i would bike 5 miles
Recently I’ve been fucked looking for work. Savannah works like this, there are two main sections to get work. Downtown and the mall area. This summer NO ONE is hiring downtown. All the jobs are out by the mall area. The problem: The mall area is over 5 miles from where I live and the roads leading to the mall are NOT bike friendly (and the summer heat will kill you). But my friend told me that there IS in fact a bike path that takes you to the mall area, so desperate for work, I tried this bike path to see if it would be doable for me to get a job out there and ride my bike to work until I maybe get a car in the fall.
The ride wasn’t that bad, considering the conditions. What sucked is when I had to bike BACK. But I made it, I’m still alive. Sort of.
Now I just gotta get a fucking job.

Ah the hell of the job hunt. I’m there myself right now.
I’d love to offer some advise, but everything I know about Savannah I learned through SCAD-related journal comics.
