inkdick: september 10 2008 - we’re all already dead
For those who don’t know about the Hadron Collider, please keep up with your science news.
Now, as far as we know, everything worked ok and we are all still alive. Yes, I was super nervous and scared the whole day before and up until news broke that it worked out alright. BUT…what if the Collider DID in fact create a black hole and we got sucked into it but got spit out on the other side, safe, and we just haven’t realized it yet?
Or, what if we all DID die in a black hole and this is the afterlife, or even worse, this is MY afterlife? Heaven is pretty boring. Or maybe this is hell. Or a combination of the two.
Either way, I’ll keep on keeping on, doing the daily strugle, black hole or none.

You realize that there is NO guarantee that a physical law will be valid the next moment? Meaning, everything could fall apart the next second. The “threat” exists constantly, at every level. That said, the universe doesn’t revolve around the interest of a single delusional specie. Life in one form or another will likely go on. Funky.

Yah i had those same thoughts. What if the black hole opened and were slower than the rest of the universe now. Or even worse what if we’ve been moved to a different time line! Now what is supposed to happen originally wont and the Cylons will get here faster!!!!

I figured if something went wrong and a black hole did form, at least it would be quick.

I was hoping dragon would come out of that mofo. Me and a friend decided to name our imaginary hipster band, Super Particle Supercollider, and our first album be called European Smash Dance, and have only euro dance songs about the Hadron

Dragons WOULD be awesome, but us going slower than the rest of the universe is terrifying!!!

Man, sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omlet. So, if those eggs have to be us, the planets, and this sector of the cosmos – so be it. SCIENCE!
