As you may have noticed, I have set up a donation thing trying to raise some money to go towards replacing my stolen computer.

I feel guilty and weird asking for donations like this, but others said I should go ahead with it, so I did, and I was surprised.

SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE DONATED and I want to thank you all! I thought I’d maybe get two or so donations for a few bucks each at the most, but damn. Just damn. I want to thank all the people who donated so far, all the people who have said kind and encouraging things, and all of those who are spreading the word and have my back. I think that’s one of the things I love about the comic community. It is small, and when one of us hurts, the others feel it and step in to help out. It’s a beautiful thing.

I want to publicly thank Amy, Angela, Falynn, Mr. and Mrs. Evry, Kris and Rich, my mom, BoxBrown, Becky, Laura, Sean, and Brett for their donations. I’m working on your drawings as we speak. Amy says they look great so far, and she has good taste, so look forward to some awesome art goodness in your mailboxes soon.

I want to thank Renee, Sweetwater, Anthony, and Fleen for helping to spread the word about the iDonate and about inkdick. That is BEYOND cool, guys! Thank you!

I also want to thank everyone who’s left me some awesome comments, texts, facebook notes, and e-mails in this bad time for me, it’s helping me a lot more than you’d ever know. There are just too many of you to list, and I fear that I’d forget someone. You are all amazing people!

I’m going to say it again, because it bares repeating: THANK YOU! Two days ago I hated every single human being on the face of this planet, but now thanks to you guys some of my faith in humanity has been restored.

I’ll keep you guys updated on the status of what’s going on with the stolen computer in the main blog of this site. I think with your guys’ awesome generosity and support, I’m gonna make it though this. And I’m going to keep on making comics for you guys to enjoy and make them the best comics that I can make, because I owe it to you.
