I know my mom is going to hate this comic, as she always tells me “You always have a home here,” but let’s be honest, we all reach a point where the place we grew up is no longer considered home. Nothing is the same there, and that’s ok. I have my life in Savannah now. I have my family down there. That is my home now. Life changes, and you have to roll with it. So, sorry, Mom.
Brett, Wheeler, and Singles left back for Savannah last night. I’m staying behind because I am taking my brother’s car while he’s in Iraq for a year. So, sucks that he’s going to war, but at least I get the car. Should…I feel guilty about that? I mean, it was part his idea.
I’m sure Godzuki, my cat, was happy at the fact that she was the one making me sneeze. She gets VERY moody and upset when I leave, and man alive can that cat hold a grudge.

The fact that your cat’s name is Godzuki makes her THAT much more amazing. Is she as old as that old Godzilla cartoon?

There is a saying, “You can’t home again”. I believe that means that the home atomsphere changes; a fact of life. There is another saying, “Home is where the heart is”. That means, your heart is now in Savannah. Be prepared as you may have many homes in a lifetime.
