inkdick: october 08 2008 - here in my car
So I have a car now. It’s just a weird feeling, since the last four years spent in Savannah have been car-less and filled with bumming rides from others. Just gotta get used to it is all.
And at least now I can start looking for jobs in the mall area, where I have a better shot at finding work.
I gotta think up a name for this car now. It’s a 2002 green manual Mazda Protege. Any ideas?

Also: Try applying at the Cafe in Barnes and Noble, they need people bad (Its different than the book floor).

Hmm, would it be tacky to name the car after my press company and the event that spawned it? hmmm. maybe. maybe not.
I do have a fear of working with food. Nothing against the food service, I’m not snubbing it. I just have a personal fear of being around people’s food and working with people’s food. But at this point, I really can’t be all that picky as I need cash fast. I’m going to be in that part of town tomorrow, so I’ll probably stop in and apply, and say I’m open for both book floor and the cafe. But knowing B&N, they probably will just overlook me again. But it’s worth a shot I guess. A shot of ESPRESSO! With a winning wit like that, surely they will hire me THIS time! Eh? Eh?

Since the official color is Seafoam; how about seaweed. After all it has been to the Cape a couple of times.

I got my driver’s license last summer aged 25 - I learned to drive when I was 17, but never really needed a car enough to bother.
Now whenever we rent a car I feel just like panel 4 :V
