I just discovered them both via you. Although Kurtz is polished, I prefer inkdick to his PVP. I think "about my life" comics is advantaged over concept comics as the former can reflect the richness of topics in life, while the latter often gets stuck in the same formula, with little surprise. The problem is, life comics often lacks stylistic originality, and is over-dependent on the life of the author... I think an author is really on top when he or she can draw fiction and still reflect life, and even create a higher version of life, its indifference and moralities, the paradox of meaning and feeling...
