[pay + food + shelter + medical and dental care + education + "responsibility" + only maybe .05% of soldiers ever have to kill anybody... ;-)~~~ + retirement after only 20 years, so u would retire when you are 43 years young, and then u can have 2 or 3 other careers, maybe concurrently.... besides, would u not want to be a COMBAT ARTIST working with the Army's Department of History?... SOMEBODY's got to do THAT job!... u could have a REAL sequential adventure... no?....]

Remember, life is what you make it. Don’t let your negative thoughts get in the way of your friendships. Why don’t you write down all the good things you have going in your life. The other thing to do is make a short term plan for yourself. Right now you see the macro part of life. Sit down and take it 6 months at a time. If you drag a dark cloud around you others will see it and tend to stay away. Give yourself some credit for having talent and people who appreciate and love you very much. Negative attitudes are detrimental to life. I am not a ‘Pollyanna’; I fight a defeatist attitude every day. Don’t let the ‘turkeys’ get you. I see negativity as a big turkey. Shake it off and start going for the gusto; trust me, you have it in you to do this.
