inkdick: november 15 2008 - try to think of the good things…
It really has been a shitty quarter. My last quarter of college ever, too. So I end my life as a student on a shit-note.
Stolen computers, fucked up credit at no fault of my own, being unemployed, burn out post-SPX, getting in a funk of the daily routine, a $75 ticket, some other small shit, and now this.
I’m trying to look at all the good things that have happened, which there were many things, but at a time like this you can only see the shit.

it could be worse. you could be dead. you could have a disease. you could have cancer. you could have lost your balls during the robbery. you could have gotten into a car accident. you could have gone blind and never be able to draw again. you could have gone impotent. you could have fallen down a manhole in savannah. you could have been raped. you could have died of radiation due to nuclear warfare. you could be homeless. you could have lost your fingers and never draw again. you could have gone bald. you could have gotten tongue disease and never be able to kiss your girlfriend again. you could have been kidnapped. you could have been beaten to death. you could have gotten lost on the way to Washington DC for SPX and ended up abandoned. you could have….you could have….
so, quit your complaining and bitchin’ and live your life to the fullest cuz, tomorrow, may not come and you won’t get to complain again. Life’s shitty, I say, but ain’t it grand?

thedeafguy is right on the mark. You have your life and I have a son. I belief each day everyone gets a second chance. You know like the time you drive through a yellow light when, if fact, it was red. Yep, you had a more memorable second chance. Embrace it and take advantage.
