Nik left today. I wasn’t too sad. Not because I don’t like the guy, I do. He’s one of the oldest friends I have at SCAD who I still have contact with. It’s just in the past half year I’ve seen so many of my friends leave this town. I think every time it happens it gets less painful to say good-bye. Odds are most of these people who left, I’ll never see again. Yeah, maybe the occasional “how do you do?” on Facebook or whathaveyou, but it won’t ever be the same.

Oh, the joys of growing up and learning to accept the fact that everyone you care about will someday leave you.

This town seems to get more empty with every passing day.

Also, rent is now going to go up a little. Balls.
