Man, I'll keep it real, and it may go against the grain, but I think Charlie Brown is a downer man. He's like the comic equivalent of a Cure album. I respect other people diggin' him, it's America people can love whatever ho-hum comic characters they want, but I just could never relate to Peanuts.

HA HA HA! My wife and I both laughed out loud at this one! I know how you feel. My heart goes out to Charlie Brown every time I see that X-mas special!

Odd that Charles Schultz saw himself as Charlie Brown. The man who brought us "Peanuts" never saw himself a success. Yet, his comics are still going strong and just as poignant now as they were when he started 58 years ago. I guess that makes Charlie Brown a winner afterall.
