Well, after almost a decade Savannah finally decided to join the rest of the 21st century and start recycling. Now I no longer have to feel guilt every time I throw away a plastic bottle or glass jar. Every place I lived in up until Savannah has recycled. Well, congrats Savannah on FINALLY deciding to join the rest of us.
The giant plastic bins are an eyesore, black bins with super bright yellow tops. But a small price to pay to be environmentally friendly.
And yes, I did get all giddy and run outside when they unloaded the bins on our street.
