inkdick: february 22 2009 early to bed…
Going to bed early sucks. Waking up early also sucks. I’ve always been a night owl. I just work better when it’s late. Getting up early? That shit is for the birds.
I start work tomorrow. As much as it sucked having no money, I am going to miss the unemployed life. I could go to bed and wake up as late as I pleased and set my own working hours. But then I remember: bills and food.

Welcome to the world of adulthood. True, it sucks but it pays the bills.

You stayed up past midnight all through high school?

agreed on the whole night-owl-early-mornings-suck thing
want to say ‘good luck at work’, but of course, too late

Remember you have art in your life that should make any of the rest of this day job crap bearable.

I’m a night owl too. I often worked night shifts. 22:00 to 5:00 kind of stuff. It sucks too.

Could that tag be changed to “Jon Chad’s Bed”? I’m really into the continuing adventures of my bed.

Yeah, I actually did stay up past midnight most nights during high school. Seriously. It fucked me up so bad though to the point where I got shingles during the 10th grade. That’s right, I got an old man’s disease at the ripe age of 15.
For you Jon Chad, I added that tag for this strip. Rest assured your bed is having many awesome adventures.

The Night is so much quieter than the day. The world’s asleep, and your thought’s have space to spread and breathe.
That’s how I see it, anyway.
