inkdick: march 13 2009 taxes?!
Got my first paycheck today, and I knew taxes would be taken out of it, but man, I did not realize by how much! The only job I had before this, the RA thing that I held for two years, didn’t take that much out for taxes if any at all. Maybe it was because it was a work-study job at my school. Who knows?
Anywho, it was a shock to the system. Another step made on the path to adulthood. Joy.

this comic is pretty much bait for conservatives to challenge your love for obama. even though obama is the one cutting taxes for the middle and lower clases, conservatives aren’t concerned with facts.

Well, over the last few days some customers have been saying how they’ve been getting taxed LESS on their paychecks in the last few weeks. I don’t know if my taxes are lower or not because this is my first paycheck. For all I know it is lower than it would have been if I was working there a month or two ago. But it seems like the cuts are happening on some levels, so that is very good.

That first cut is always the deepest.
It’s always sad to see how much they take out of taxes in the first place…but I like the idea that some of my money is helping my community. I am not happy that my California taxes are helping out the Octo-mom.
