I sent mine in when I damaged the keyboard foolishly but apple was real nice about it. They sent me a box, i pack it in, i sent it out and it came back within a week. It's actually a lot faster than I thought it'd be. Give them a call again and see if you can still get it done with them. hey pranas, if you dont wish to take it to that place in sav, you can always call apple. Also, since it was literally two days old, it was clearly just a defective computer and it would be wise to just get a completely new one. AIS may not have 'Apple' in their name, but they'll do all the repairs on Apple warranties, and it's much easier way to find out if you do need to send it in for sure. They did a pretty good job fixing Matthew's laptop, and they were really helpful with me getting the correct cords for my Mac Mini.
