inkdick: march 29 2009 looking for slow work
For whatever reason I didn’t bring my sketchbook in with me so I couldn’t even do that!
Usually there is always something to do at work: stocking shelves, refilling samples, sweeping, dealing with customers. Usually I don’t like or love doing a lot of work (I mean, who does?), but with a job like this it really helps the time go by faster to stay busy. When there is nothing to do though, man does time go by ever so slowly.

This is where having a little notebook in your back pocket for ideas comes in handy. It happens all the time at the Starbucks in Target.
