Where oh where do I begin? I mean, she never talked to Amy or I personally about ANY of this and she gave us an “fyi” via text message while she was already driving back from Florida. What the FUCK? Who DOES that? Ugh, I don’t want to get too into this because I will just make myself more pissed than I was when I got her text. I’ve had it and I don’t want to have to keep dealing with this sort of crap again.
Two more weeks, I keep telling myself. Two more weeks and I move the hell out of here. I just hope I can last that long.

I don’t fully get your anger this time around. You’re moving out in 2 weeks, and your roommate, who is remaining in th ehouse, is bringing in her new roommate now, into a spacious house.
That doesn’t seem like a big deal, I’d imagine. A little puppy won’t hurt either, assuming it isn’t hyper active.
I can indeed imagine a slight irritation at the new one coming 2 weeks before the actual move out date, but that may be the slight inconvenience to pay so that your roommate can secure a new roommate to aliviate cost per resident, if that is how it works…

Let me explain the situation further then (I didn’t want to talk about it too much because just talking about it makes me riled up, but I guess now I have to). I am angry at this because she didn’t even bother to ask us before she did this, and that is just disrespectful any way you cut it, and crap like this has been pulled before. If she had at least asked us, we would have been fine with it, but she didn’t. She also didn’t ask us about the new dog either. We already have a dog here who is overly hyper and according to our landlord we are only officially allowed to have ONE dog in this house, not TWO. She didn’t bother to ask us about any of this beforehand, she TOLD us via TEXT MESSAGE as if it was no big deal. Also when her girlfriend was visiting a month ago, she was a horrible house guest (ate all our food without asking, cranked up the heat without offering to help pay for that, etc). And it turns out that she is not even going to pay for her share of the rent while she’s here for the next month and a half, only utilities. And it turns out this new dog also barks his little head off like the first dog AND in addition to that he shits and pisses everywhere in the house.
So yeah, that is why I’m angry at this. And if that doesn’t make you understand why I’m angry here, well, I don’t know what else to say. I don’t know about you, but in my personal moral code you ASK your roommates if big things like this are ok to do before you do them.
Man, now I’m all upset after writing this. Back to packing.

Oh, and to clarify, Andy and Sabrina are only staying in the house until June 1st, so it’s not like her girlfriend is a permanent replacement or anything.

I’m going to have to back Pranas up here. I usually don’t really get angry at things the way Pranas does and I’m generally pretty level-headed about these situations, but even I am about to lose it over this stuff. You really can’t understand how frustrating and downright enraging this situation is without experiencing it. And it’s only gotten worse from the date of this comic. Much, much worse. So yes, it IS “a big deal,” and there is a lot more to this than Pranas can possibly convey in four panels.

Also, I like comics where Pranas gets mad which is lucky for me because it happens like every other strip. I hope he gets really super pissed over something sometime in the next couple months and draws himself like a raging Peter Bagge character, blowing fire with his eyeballs literally bursting out of his skull in rage

Communal/house sharing living has responsibilities and ASKING is the way to go,
as opposed to TELLING!
I would have been SO angry, that I would have said “NO”, “NO way!”
