inkdick: april 14 2009 without a helmet
Yeah, I’m one of the small handful of people in this town who wears their helmet when they ride their bike. I know some people who pass by probably snicker, but let me tell you, after you have your first major bike accident (which I had February 2008) you will wear your helmet every single time you get on a bike.
So this was my first time in more than a year not wearing my helmet.
It was a weird, but unwelcome, sensation being so angry at something that you forget something that you would never forget otherwise.

I met a dude who got in a bike accident literally a week before graduating college, and he lost his memories from his classes so he couldn’t pass exams and didn’t graduate, he forgot who his ex-girlfriend was who he had dated for three years, etc. Guy pretty much made me sear to always wear a helmet, not that I needed much convincing after his story

God, Ben, that fucking SUCKS! I didn’t need any more of a reason to wear my helmet, but damn…I am almost tempted to just wear my helmet even when I’m just walking around now!
