It’s weird–I want to hate everything that is Disney because they are such a rotten company. But there is no denying that Disney World is one of the funnest places I’ve ever been to so there is a dilemma there…
You’ve never been to any disneyland? I’ve never been to Disney world, but that’s because I live in CA. Most people around here in the artistic field sell their soul to the mouse for a little stability. Plus for some reason Disneyland is fun at all ages, which is why i have an annual pass!
Disney World is way better than our (California) Disneyland… it’s impossible to be upset there. It’s the happiest place on earth, you are not to blame.
My wife is a hard core Disney fanatic and wants to go there any time we have the opportunity to take a vacation. I bristle somewhat at the suggestion because I think travel should be about exploration and learning a little bit about different cultures.
But dammit, every time we go to Disneyworld, it is a fucking excellent experience. Those Imagineers do an expert job of shielding you from the outside world - your worries, your problems - when you’re inside their park.
