I don’t really read the news unless I want to get really really mad.

I’m kinda upset at the people protesting Obama and saying that all he’s doing is patting himself on the back. (this includes many of my family who voted for the other guy). I’m also upset at the people protesting the new bill. I don’t have health insurance (mostly due to the thoughtlessness of my mom), so I would love a government ran health care program.

There’s a stream of consciousness running through some of the conservative Republicans, and they do have legitimate concerns, but those legitimate concerns are often stretched out to an unrecognizable point by the majority of the so-called “conservatives” (who are really just neo-cons). But I’m all for public option and getting health care, as someone in the art field and a recent graduate who will probably never have health care so long as I consider myself a freelance artist.

And most of the news pundits today are not news anchors. They’re people who have a nationally televised show and make opinions that appeal to one side. FOX News is currently looking more and more ridiculous as they side with the town hall crazies who are calling Obama a socialist and the new Hitler (did Bush even get this much flak? And this is for trying to give lower class citizens medical advantages).

“Obama is a damn communist nazi” ?

And this was linked by a news site? That is supposedly run by people who make a living in reporting politics?

Let me guess: FOX News is the culprit.

I love watching Riot Videos from the G20 Meet and everybody is like “LOOK AT THOSE FUCKING NAZIS! RIOT GUARDS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THAT WHEN BUSH WAS IN POWERE! FUCKING NAZIS!”

There are lots of comercials now which encourage you to call so-and-so and coice your concern over health reform. I call and tell them they better vote for it! Good post.

I don’t care if people agree with the bill in particular or not, just so long as they agree that health care does need to be reformed. Just so long as A bill is passed, at some point.
