GOING TO SPX 2009!!!
Sorry for the lack of new comics. The reason for that is that I was busting my ass getting ready for THE SMALL PRESS EXPO 2009!!!
If you are in the Washington D.C. area, please please PLEASE stop by the show (it is one of the best comic shows there is). I’m going to be at table A-5 with lots of minicomic goodness! I’ll have all inkdick mini-collections from #1 to #8 and, this is the big one, my brand new minicomic BEARD! Plus some other good stuff. Oh, I almost forgot, Amy (yes, THAT Amy) is actually debuting a minicomic project this year, and it is amazing! So again, stop by table A-5, you know you want to.
In inkdick news: Comics will start back up when I get back. I’m staying with my family until the end of the month so check back October 1st.
Now, to make the 500 plus drive solo back up to D.C. on only four and a half hours of sleep…

Just read Zak and Sara (I was among those who razzed you about Ben Folds) and really loved it. Story of my life, actually. Nice to meet you at SPX!

we were either right across the hall or completely across the room from you :) can’t tell since SPX flipped around the hall so much this year (and didn’t follow the pictured map at all)

Picked up the Beard mini at SPX, and I really enjoyed it. Listening to the podcast and hear you guys talk about how a well crafted mini should be and then seeing it executed is impressive. It was and is the kind of read you can look at and get creatively inspired, and inspired to grow a manly beard!

just read all of this comic tonight and I really enjoyed it. I can relate because I’m one that analyzes too much, too XD
(did you really grow up in woodbridge, va?…I lived there most of my life, that’s interesting)
