Haha yeah, I know that feeling. I’ve been toying with a webcomic for a few months now, but I just don’t have time or money :( you’ll do fine though, Beard and Monster Town were fiction and they were great, I loved ‘em! You definitely have it in you–

Aw shucks, thank you!
Beard and Monster Town were both short and silly fiction though. This new idea I have would be something completely different and unlike anything I’ve ever done before. It would have long and overlapping story-arcs, sub-plots, character development, all the things I SHOULD know how to do since I have a Creative Writing minor on my fancy-pants art school degree. Oh, and it would have sci-fi and paranormal stuff and a giant Yeti with a clip-on tie in it! Four years of art school well spent… :P

A giant yeti with a clip-on tie? Have I mentioned I want to be you when I grow up?

Perhaps you should throw around and draw some short fiction storys and asks for comments on all of them. Later take the most popular and then build off of it from last time adding more characters and depth. Maybe ask some other artists for help with story line or just some ideas (I’m always willing because I love your stuff :) ). Even so just dont let it seem like a work load and over stress you. take it one step at a time and be happy knowing your a great artist who has time to create. remember small things like theme dont try to rush anything :) Besides you’ve done a great job in everything you’ve made.
