Well, it ended up that he was ambulanced to Walter Reed and I drove to Walter Reed for my surgery. So, the night of 11 May we were in the hospital at the same time; different clinics, though. My surgery was very successful and Tetis returned home after a 7 night stay at Walter Reed. We both are doing much better!!
I would not wish a bilateral pneumonia even on my worst enemy!
It literally saps your strength…
You can’t even turn yourself over in your bed…
BUT,
amazingly, gaining strength each day :-)
